21.1K HALF MARATHON RUN
The Uxbridge Half Marathon starts at the Wooden Sticks Golf Course Club House. One heads east on Elgin Park Drive, then proceeds south on the 7th concession. Only a short distance lapses, when one heads east along the winding, scenic Brookdale Road. A small detour through a wooded trail connects one to Wagg Road. It is a distance of 9km of country roads, before one ventures south into the Countryside Preserve Trail System. Here, one travels through the Preserve for approximately 5km before hooking up to the Wooden Sticks golf cart paths. One will turn south (right) and experience the breath taking and exhilarating paths, which will lead one through the last 7km to the finish line at the Wooden Sticks Club House.
10K TRAIL RUN/WALK
The 10km trail run/walk starts at the Wooden Sticks Golf Course Club House. One heads west on Elgin Park Drive for 300 metres, then heads south entering the Countryside Preserve Trail System. One travels 3 kilometres up to connect to the Wooden Sticks golf cart paths. One will turn south (right) and mimic the last 7km of the Uxbridge Half Marathon. It is a one of a kind opportunity and experience to run/walk in this exclusive golf course. One then completes the race at the finish line at the Wooden Sticks Club House.
5K TRAIL RUN/WALK
The 5km trail run/walk starts at the Wooden Sticks Golf Course Club House. One heads west on Elgin Park Drive for 300 metres, then heads south entering the Countryside Preserve Trail System. One travels 3km up to connect to the Wooden Sticks golf cart paths. One will turn north (left) on the path for the remaining downhill dramatic 2km venture to the finish line at the Wooden Sticks Club House.
300M KIDS DASH
The 300m Kids Dash is a fun run for children up to and including 7 years of age to encourage fitness and participation in sport. The course is a quick jaunt around the Wooden Sticks Cabins. One begins at the start line at the Wooden Sticks Club House and follows the cart paths around the Wooden Sticks Cabins. Parents are welcome to assist and participate with their children.
